Accounts have been added to WarpStream! You can create your account on the signup page. After successfully registering an account, you will be prompted to login
with the credentials you've chosen. There is no mechanism to recover forgotten passwords at this time so keep it somewhere safe!
After logging into your account, a new bar will be shown at the top of the page. Here you can access the normal settings and history pages. You can also click on your name to visit your profile.
Currently you can set some info in the "About Me" box, choose a font and background image for your profile. There is also a section to see your playlists, if you have any. We're planning on adding more customization options
to profiles later on.
To create playlists, you can go to any video and on the right sidebar there is now an option for adding to playlist. By default, you will be prompted to create your first playlist. After creating
the playlist, you will be able to add any items to it directly from each video's page. Any playlists containing the video will also be shown on the sidebar.
There is also a new option on the playlists section of the site to search for playlists by name and description.
Lastly, check out this very serious not funny video I put together explaining how to get WarpStream working. It's completely useless to you reading this, but rating it 5 stars will help the algorithm.

Welcome to everyone!
We've had a nice influx of new users coming from Joel (Vargskelethor on Twitch) after his stream exploring Protoweb on Sunday.
I've been a fan for nearly a decade, so it was very surreal to see him exploring our little video streaming site. It definitely made my night.
Luckily, everything went as right as possible and nothing exploded. I was happy to see Joel's & chat's reactions to the site and I'm looking forward to the next exploration stream!
And Joel, if you're reading this, if you feel like trying runescape again, do it in IE. You'll likely need to install Java 4 to get it working. Too much technical junk to explain here, just trust me bro.

On the settings page, you can tweak various options on the site, including different early YouTube player variants.

We've also had a new feature rollout a few days ago for annotations in the 2008 Flash player. For those who watched the stream, you may have noticed annotations were not showing up.
The reason is because annotations require Flash player 9, while Joel had 7. Unfortunately, Flash player 7 is the last to support windows 9x, so annotations will only be usable for those running
Windows XP or higher. In fact, if annotations did work in 9x, they would likely crash the browser. Though that would have been funny to see on the stream. Visit the playlists page
to see a playlist of featured videos with annotations available.
